Universal Homes sales manager Mike Pearce says Universal Homes has learned a lot from its significant involvement at Hobsonville Point with the Axis Homes series designed for first home buyers. One of the main things learnt has been what the first home buyer wants, the extent of their ability to fund it and their critical need for simple and clear details about the buying process.
The $339 million from the Housing Infrastructure Fund will deliver new roads, bus lanes, cycle lanes and wastewater infrastructure. It will help create a new community in an affordable and fast growing area of Auckland
The houses will be built on the semi-rural sections in Redhills and Whenuapai, close to the Westgate commercial centre, a short drive to the north-western motorway and the planned light rail line.
